Mattresses, bedsheets and bedding in Khargone

गद्दे, बेडशीट और बिस्तर

A mattress is bought once every eight or ten years, usually with very little information, and the words on the label do most of the selling. This page is an attempt to explain what they actually mean before you spend the money.

We stock mattresses from Sleepwell, Kurl-on, Duroflex, Wakefit, Centuary, Nilkamal, Freshup and BondPro — premium orthopedic, spring and memory-foam ranges as well as affordable coir and foam gaddas — plus loose foam in memory, gel-infused, latex and high-resilience grades across every density, and everything that goes on top of the bed.

Range

Premium and affordable, on the same floor

The mattress counter is not only the budget end of the market. Branded orthopedic and spine-support models, pocket and bonnell spring beds, dual-comfort mattresses that are firm on one face and soft on the other, and high-density memory, latex and HR foam ranges sit alongside plain coir and foam gaddas.

That is the reason to come here rather than to a single-brand gallery. A premium Sleepwell, Kurl-on or Duroflex bed, a mid-range Wakefit, Centuary or Nilkamal, and an affordable coir gadda are all in one room, so you can compare construction and price band in one visit instead of one brand per trip. Branded mattresses carry the manufacturer’s warranty.

Choosing a mattress: what the four foams actually do

Almost every mattress sold today is one of four foams, or a combination of them over a support layer. The differences are real and worth understanding.

Density, and why it matters more than thickness

Density is the weight of foam packed into a cubic metre, and it is the single number that best predicts how long a mattress will last and how much support it gives. A thick mattress in a low density will sag long before a thinner one in a high density.

Broadly: lower densities suit light body weights, spare rooms and occasional use; middle densities cover most adults in regular daily use; higher densities suit heavier body weights and beds that get used hard, including hostels and hotels. A firm feel comes from density and grade together, not from thickness alone.

Tell us the body weight the mattress is for and how firm you like it, and we will point you at the density rather than selling you the thickest one on the shelf. Lie on it in the shop — five minutes on your own sleeping side tells you more than any specification.

Sizes, warranty and getting it home

Branded mattresses come in the standard Indian bed sizes — single, double, queen and king — in the common thicknesses. For a diwan, a wooden palang, a carpenter-made cot or any bed that is not a standard size, foam is cut to the measurement you bring in.

Every branded mattress carries the manufacturer’s warranty and the card is handed over with the bill. Keep it: claims on foam sag are settled on the card and the invoice together. Ask at the counter about delivery within Khargone city — for the towns around us, see areas we serve.

Bedsheets, dohars and comforters

Sheets are bought by bed size, and the practical advice is to check the mattress before you buy rather than assume: with a protector and a thicker mattress, a sheet cut for a standard depth will not stay tucked.

For this climate the dohar does most of the work — layered cotton, light enough for a fan-cooled night and warm enough for most of the winter. Comforters are worth it only for the genuinely cold weeks. Blankets we keep in both light and heavy weights.

Towels, napkins and cotton filling

Towels include Welspun alongside other mills, in bath and hand sizes. A heavier towel absorbs more and lasts longer through repeated washing; a lighter one dries faster in the monsoon.

Napkins are sold singly and in bulk for hotels and restaurants. And for the traditional cotton bed, we sell raw cotton by weight — for filling a new gadda or refilling one that has gone flat, which is usually far cheaper than replacing it.

For hotels, hospitals, hostels and PGs

Institutional bedding is a volume business with different priorities: colour consistency across repeat orders, foam that survives constant use, and linen that holds up to industrial washing.

We supply hotels, hospitals, hostels, PG accommodation and commercial buildings across Khargone and the Nimar region — mattresses, protectors, bedsheets, pillows, blankets, towels and napkins — at contract rates for repeat orders. Send quantities and we will quote.

Brands we carry

Mattress and bedding brands

Mattresses are one of the few things in the shop bought on brand as much as on feel, so we keep the national names — premium lines and entry lines both — alongside our own foam cut to size. You can put a branded mattress next to the same density in loose foam and decide with both in front of you.

Questions we are asked

Frequently asked

Which mattress brands do you stock?

Sleepwell, Kurl-on, Duroflex, Wakefit, Centuary, Nilkamal, Freshup and BondPro — premium and affordable lines both — in standard Indian bed sizes.

Do you sell premium mattresses or only budget ones?

Both. Branded orthopedic, spine-support, pocket spring and high-density memory and latex mattresses from Sleepwell, Kurl-on, Duroflex, Wakefit, Centuary and Nilkamal sit on the same floor as budget coir and foam gaddas, so you can compare price bands in a single visit.

Do you stock Sleepwell and Kurl-on mattresses in Khargone?

Yes. Sleepwell, Kurl-on, Duroflex, Wakefit, Centuary, Nilkamal, Freshup and BondPro are all stocked, in standard Indian bed sizes, with the manufacturer’s warranty card given at the time of billing.

Do you have orthopedic or spine-support mattresses?

Yes — branded orthopedic models from the ranges above, and firm high-density HR and latex foam cut to size for the same purpose. Tell us the body weight and whether the firmness is for a back complaint and we will point you at the right density.

Can I lie on the mattress before I buy it?

Yes. Pieces are on the floor to try. Five minutes on your own sleeping side tells you more than any label, and it is the only way to judge firmness honestly.

Can you make a mattress in a custom size?

Yes. Foam is cut to measurement for diwans, palangs, non-standard cots and bunk beds, in the density and grade you choose. Bring the measurement of the bed frame, not of the old mattress.

Which foam is best — memory, gel, latex or HR?

It depends on how you sleep. Memory foam for pressure relief, gel-infused if you sleep hot, latex for springy support and the longest life, HR foam for a firm feel and heavy daily use. Tell us your body weight and preferred firmness and we will narrow it down.

What foam density should I choose?

Density predicts support and lifespan better than thickness. Lighter body weights and spare rooms need less; regular daily use needs more; heavier weights and hostel or hotel use need the highest. Come and lie on a few — five minutes tells you more than the label.

Do you sell raw cotton for filling beds?

Yes, by weight — for filling a new cotton gadda or refilling one that has flattened, which usually costs far less than replacing the mattress.

Do you supply bedding to hotels, hospitals and hostels?

Yes. Mattresses, protectors, bedsheets, pillows, blankets, towels and napkins are supplied to hotels, hospitals, hostels, PG accommodation and commercial buildings at contract rates.
